Virtual Therapy: Mental Telehealth for Individuals, Couples, and Families

One of the most common obstacles to mental health care is accessibility. Commuting and mutual availability can stop you from seeking the care you need. We’re happy to offer virtual therapy for residents of Illinois and Minnesota as a flexible choice to help you overcome those obstacles.

Whether you're seeking one-on-one remote therapy, virtual couples therapy, or virtual family therapy, we want to make receiving the help you need as simple as possible. The fewer barriers in your way, the more quickly you can begin your journey of growth with our dedicated team. That’s why all of our therapists offer virtual appointments, to keep things accessible, easy-to-maintain, and straight-forward

Artesian Collaboratives' virtual therapy opens more scheduling options by not factoring in commute time. This allows more flexibility on both ends, giving you the opportunity to work with us during a tight availability window, such as a lunch break.

Starting Therapy

Getting your family to agree to professional help is one thing; getting everyone on the same page for appointments is another. Telehealth therapy eases that burden and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and ready to do the work during sessions. While the insurance holder needs to be in Illinois or Minnesota, it is important to note that your family can be spread out and still be able to connect for a session. We’re ready to help you strengthen your family ties and work through difficult moments

Frequently Asked Questions About Virtual Therapy

How do I know if I need therapy?

When your emotions or life circumstances begin to disrupt your relationships, your physical wellbeing, your spiritual health, professional or academic life, it indicates that something needs attention. One effective way to seek support and manage life's challenges is through teletherapy. Unsure if therapy suits your needs? Arrange a free, 15-minute consultation to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and we will explore the best support you need, together.

How long are remote therapy sessions?

Sessions generally last 50 to 55 minutes.

How much does therapy cost?  Do you accept insurance?

We accept a variety of insurance plans, including BCBS PPO, BCBS Choice PPO, BCBS Medicare Advantage HMO, Aetna PPO, Magellan, Medicare, Humana, and Humana Medicare Advantage. If your insurance is not listed, we can verify if they offer out-of-network coverage. For those opting for self-payment, our initial assessment fee is $250, with subsequent individual or family therapy sessions priced at $200.

What if I can't afford it?

We want to make our services accessible. If you’re uninsured or out-of-network, we offer a limited number of sliding-scale slots. For those with in-network insurance but high deductibles, we offer flexible payment plans to make participation manageable. Our goal is to help you get the support you need, without letting cost be a barrier.

How can I schedule an appointment?

To book a session with us, feel free to contact us by dialing 773.980.9679, emailing connect@artesiancollaborative.com, or filling out our appointment request form on our website.
