Overview: This CE will provide a basic explanation of Dementia, ways to assess for it, and common ways it manifests in outpatient treatment. Impact of Dementia on marital and caregiver relationships will also be explored.

  • Explain what dementia is and what mental health conditions it is often confused with

  • Identify skills to implement to support individuals and families navigating through a diagnosis of dementia
