About the event

We don’t all have the same 24 hours.

If you’re living with chronic illness, you’ve probably felt the pressure to keep up — to work harder, try more, or pretend it’s fine. But what if the problem isn’t you? What if the myth of productivity is hurting more than helping?

At this month’s Community Table, we’re making space to talk about what it’s really like to live with chronic health concerns — the physical, emotional, and invisible parts of the experience. Together, we’ll explore three core ideas:

1. The Myth of the Same 24 Hours

Chronic illness reshapes how time, energy, and effort work. Let’s challenge the unrealistic standards we’re told to meet — and name the real cost of pushing through.

2. Living with Chronic Illness: Seen, Heard, Validated
